Maya Ammarell joined the St. Petersburg Office of England & Associates in the summer of 2023 as a Vocational Case Manager, Co-Evaluator and Intern. She is currently enrolled in her second year in the Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling Program at the University of South Tampa in pursuit of her Master of Arts degree.
She has received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology at the University of South Florida (USF) in 2019 and graduated Cum Laude. She became an Intern for the Department of Children and Families under Adult Protective Services. This experience helped her to get in touch with the local community and assist in her decision to further her education.
After beginning her graduate program at the University of South Florida, she began working for the University as a Proctor for Student Accessibility Services. Working with college students varying in age and disability guided her interests towards accessibility, education and evaluation.
Through the Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling Program at USF, Maya Ammarell is a Graduate Student Intern for England and Associates of Florida Inc. She is currently a member of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) and the Florida State Chapter of IARP.
Maya Ammarell spent her primary years in New England and moved to Tampa in 2009. While considering herself a Florida native, she occasionally makes trips back up North to see the snow and enjoy skiing. In her spare time, she also enjoys traveling, crocheting, sewing, paddleboarding, kayaking and adventuring!
